"YIMMY"

Jim and Carla visited us in Florida one new years and this was the beach new years day. Hurricane strength winds and cold. But we had to get out of the house because we ate, drink and partied IN THE HOUSE because it rained their entire visit. Spectacular time!

Jim telling us the story of his stroke, he would even get down on the ground showing how his wonderful neighbor John found him. He and Carla where very strong in his recovery and accomplished their goals. Jim could always make you laugh by laughing at himself. You learn a lot from a fella like that. YIMMY WAS ONE OF A KIND!

YIMMY. was always ready for a challenge. I wanted to put a waterfall pond at our farm, while Alan was deployed. Jim got his boys Jim and Harrison and their friends to come out and get the job done. We are lucky to have huge boulders to decorate it and Jim's brains to move them into place. Jim was out there in a heartbeat leveling the waterfall with perfect down flow precision. There wasn't really anything Jim wouldn't try!
"YIMMY" escorted me to my husband the day of our wedding, Carla was my maid of honor, at a golf course in the middle of winter. We called Jim "Yimmy" because that's what the Amish barn builders called him. He really was a very precise and particular handyman and electrician. Alan would always say " I gotta guy" that Guy was Jim!
